リート・ゲーマは休みます。。。 - June 16th, 2008

About June 16th, 2008

It's that time of the season... 11:01 pm
Welcome back to Sean's blog of l33t LAN gaming and absolutely nothing else. Honestly, I don't know why I bother -- at this point, Facebook's probably more convenient. I suppose I might drop this invite there as well...

Anyhow, with no further ado, I invite you, one and all, to Sean's 23rd birthday party! You probably know the drill by now -- bring friends with computers, presents optional, pizza provided -- but just in case, here's the goods, complete with blatant self-plagiarism because it's late and I'm tired.

  • Who: Anyone who is reading this LJ, lives in the Bay Area, and has an even-slightly game-capable computer. And all your friends who have game machines as well.

  • What: My 23nd Birthday LAN Party

  • When: Saturday, June 21st from noon until Dad kicks you all out

  • Where: My house

  • What to bring: All game-capable PCs, hopefully with copies of LAN favorites all pre-loaded and ready to go (and extra copies to distribute!) Ethernet switches, cables and power strips if you have them lying around. A gift if you feel generous - none are expected but all are appreciated. A suggested gift-list follows this invitation.

  • What will be provided: Dinner, snacks, drinks, power outlets, as many ethernet cables as we can dig up, and my aging eight-port 10/100 ethernet switch, if I can find the blasted thing.

    Wish list:

    • Not so affordable:

    • Decently affordable:

      • Grado SR60 Headphones
      • No-frills USB keyboard with decent keys for typing, gaming
      • Good right-handed gaming mouse, with plenty of soft-touch rubber (Logitech MX518 looks good)
      • Games:

        • Boom Blox (Wii)
        • No More Heroes (Wii)
        • The World Ends With You (DS)
        • Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GameCube)
        • Jade Empire: Special Edition (PC)
        • God of War II (PS2)
\Can't wait!
Current Location: my chair
Current Mood: tired
Current Music: weird random tune
